Our department-s research is dedicated to understanding pancreatic cancer. Through various research projects, we explore the underlying mechanisms of pancreatic cancer development and progression. By deepening our understanding of the disease-s molecular foundations, we aim to identify novel therapeutic approaches for combating this aggressive tumor entity.

Your tasks
Your tasks
• support the planning and execution of laboratory experiments including animal (mice) experiments
• cultivate cell lines and conduct in vitro cell culture experiments (e.g., growth assays, transfections, etc)
• apply biochemical techniques, including Western blotting and immunoprecipitation
• perform molecular biology methods, such as DNA and RNA isolation, PCR, genotyping, and cloning
• accurately document experimental procedures and results using specialized software
• maintain and calibrate analytical and measurement equipment
• assist researchers and students in the preparation and execution of experimental studies
• Oversee laboratory organization and administrative tasks, including inventory management and ordering supplies
• train new employees and interns in accordance with current regulations and safety guidelines
Your qualifications
Your qualifications
• highly motivated technical assistant with demonstrated expertise in biochemical, molecular, and cell biological methodologies
• proven experience with murine and human cell cultures and proficiency in genetic engineering at biosafety levels S1
• Experience with animal experiments and proficiency in mice handling techniques
• strong collaborative skills and the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team of scientists, doctoral students, and technical staff
